ABOUT
Hi, my name is Takako.
In 2012, I made a big decision in my life: quitting a job in Japan and studying abroad. That decision required a lot of courage because changing the direction where my life was going at thirty years old was unusual for many Japanese people like me.
However, I believe that the challenge had been met using hard work, and all the help from my family and friends. I think that the decision I made in 2012 created the current me. Living in the US opened up my world widely.
My background is design and marketing, skills that were so helpful in pursuing my passion for problem-solving. Updating outdated packaging to make it more attractive, creating packaging for a brand new item, spreading the word about the new item to people. These tasks are correctly the specialty of design and marketing.
I learned core and interior design in Japan and worked for a commercial interior design company for five years. I studied marketing in the US. and continue to learning marketing through daily tasks nowadays.
Working in the Bay Area is wonderful since it's one of the most diverse environments in the US!
